Designed by and for Hospice and Palliative Care Clinicians
Recognizing the specialized need within Hospice and Palliative Care
Clinical eNotes has thrived because of it recognizes the specialized needs of Hospice and Palliative Care facilities and has designed a system matching the unique demands of all members of the various teams providing care and administration – both clinical and non-clinical.
Many physician practices have been reluctant to deploy EMRs into clinical practice for a myriad of reasons, one main reason, however, is that other EMR vendors have developed practice management systems focusing on billing and administrative functions. Clinical functionality then added later ‘trying to fit it in' to these systems - almost as an afterthought.
The Clinical eNotes solution is a patient-centric system focused on enhancing the work of those who provide and enable patient care; the clinical content of all patient care is the central core with administrative functions serving a supporting role.
Following years of development with actual practitioners in hospice and palliative care settings, Clinical eNotes understands that the development of a successful, efficient health management system must begin with the clinical component to help improve the quality of care, reduce costs, increase revenue and reduce risk.
The company is a privately held enterprise based in Northern Virginia, founded by a Hospice and Palliative Care clinician in 2004. Since inception, the company has dedicated its efforts to developing an electronic medical record for the hospice and palliative care industry that has medical care and a patient focus as the central core, with all administrative functions providing support.
